The GPX file can then be uploaded to your cycle computer or phone as a course. If you have any routes you want to make available then email Graeme (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) the GPX file.

Sad to receive this message from Angus Marshall:

"I'm sorry to have to report that my father, John Marshall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning last week. The funeral is to be held at Dundee Crematorium on 4th June at 1:30 p.m. There is likely to be a gathering afterwards at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee. Dad was a keen competitive cyclist and, as a member of Dundee Wheelers, competed in events across Scotland. He was particularly keen on longer events and I often found myself roped in to drive his support car on 12 hour events. He also acted as a record keeper for the SVTTA standards for a while in the 1990s and, I think, into the early 2000s. "

The family have requested no flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army in John's name would be much appreciated.

The return of the BRAW rides!

For anyone new to group riding or starting back again and want to get fitter and faster we are starting up our BRAW rides again this Saturday (25th May) and for the next 4 weeks if there is demand.

Meet at the Millennium Hall, Birkhill for a 9:15am start. Plan to do 25-30 miles with a cafe stop so bring cash / card too.

These rides are suitable for people who can cycle around 14 mph on their own for 20 miles - you can ride faster and longer in a group, one of the many joys of group riding.

If you are interested or know anyone who is, drop a note to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to let us know who to expect. See you Saturday.

The clocks have changed, good bikes are making an appearance, spring is in the air. So it's time to start the midweek runs again. Wednesday Carse Loop and Hilly Thursday, from Invergowrie Meeting Place at 6pm. All welcome.
