Club Runs 23rd May
This Saturday is our Bill Shewan Memorial Ride, meet at Millennium Hall for 9.15 am depart for a 100Km or 100 Mile route. We will split into groups based on average speed and numbers, but these are all social, no drop rides with the groups staying together. There is voluntary suggested donation of £5 to Dundee Bairns. Please make payment to the club bank account, or bring cash on the day (please no coins). It is hoped as many members as possible can take part in the honour of one of Scotland's best ever amateur cyclists and a former club member. All welcome, not just club members.
All newcomers are welcome. If you can cycle 40+ miles in 2.5 - 3 hours then you will manage fine on the steady runs. If you are new to club cycling then p9lease see the FAQ page.
About Us
Dundee Wheelers Cycling Club was established in 1971 through a merger of the Dundee Roads and Forfarshire clubs.
Today it is one of the largest clubs in the Dundee area and enjoys a reputation for its friendliness and the welcome it gives to riders of all ages and abilities.
Although a number of members race at local and national level, others cycle for purely recreational purposes. All enjoy the unique comradeship that cycling as a group brings.
